Around the World in 26 Meals: No. ? - What's Going On?

So, it’s pretty clear that things haven’t been updated for a while. If anyone’s popping in I thought it best to leave a little note on where things are.

Broadly life has been returning a bit more to how it was pre-pandemic, at least for now, and a lot more of my free time is spent being social or travelling than it was even this summer. In addition to this, for those who don’t know, I have chronic fatigue syndrome. It has its waxings and wanings in terms of how much it impacts my life and, for most of September and October it was very much waxing and I’ve been finding it hard to keep up with my hobbies when they feel remotely demanding - this applies to reading, listening to music, reading and, of course, writing this blog.

tl;dr version - I have less unprogrammed free time and, until about a week ago, I was feeling completely shattered nearly 24/7. As opposed to my baseline of pretty shattered nearly 24/7 and completely shattered some of the time.

So is this cancelled? Long story short - no but don’t expect posts this year.

Long story long - I fell back but am early back on track with the cooking itself, with photos and all. In fact, tomorrow I’ll be cooking the first European food for a while - ready to get back to the start in time for December.

However I am not nearly back on track with the writing. The second China post is in early drafting, so the rest of Asia and everything east of that hasn’t even been started. Moreover, to keep on track I’m cooking for this nearly every week until 2022, and the weekends I’m not are accounted for, so it’s not very likely you’ll see any evidence of all this cooking for a while!
